From Background Actor to Lead Hero
Interior Chinatown follows a young man named Willis Wu, who is trapped in a television police procedural. He is thrust into the spotlight when he witnesses a crime. He works with the local authorities unraveling the criminal activities of Chinatown and delving into his complicated family history.
The series is based off of a novel written by Charles Yu. Who better to adapt it then the man himself who serves as creator and executive producer. In addition, Taika Waititi directs the pilot episode.
Stream the entire first season of Interior Chinatown beginning Tuesday, November 19, on Hulu.
Going Undercover
Michael Schur and Ted Danson found success working together on The Good Place, so why not collaborate again. This time around, their new comedy, A Man on the Inside, draws inspiration from the 2020 documentary, The Mole Agent.
Danson plays a retiree who recently lost his wife. He is looking for a sense of purpose and answers an add in the paper looking for an investigative assistant. His task is to go undercover in a senior community to solve a mystery regarding a stolen family heirloom. However, the more he interacts with his fellow residents, the more he becomes attached.
A Man on the Inside launches Thursday, November 21, on Netflix.
Sophomore Year
When we last left The Sex Lives of College Girls, drama was brewing over at Essex College. Not only do we not know who the main four roommates will be living with in their second year, but one of them might not even be there since Bela requested a transfer elsewhere.
From the trailer we see there are plenty of opportunities to explore the series name as the student body just got hotter over the summer. You might also notice less of a presence of Leighton. That’s because actress, Reneé Rapp is exiting the show and will have a recurring role in season three.
The Sex Lives of College Girls season three premieres Thursday, November 21, on Max.
