It is hard to believe that it has been almost 40 years since Stuart Gordon’s Re-Animator was first unleashed on an unsuspecting public. Based on a short story by H.P. Lovecraft, the film was released to great acclaim and became a cult classic. The movie went on to spawn two sequels, comics, and even a musical adaptation.
Ignite Films and Eagle Rock Pictures have worked together in the past to deliver fans award winning restorations. Based on a recent press release, it looks like their next endeavor will be Re-Animator.
