DC Comics has released cover art and interior art for Batman #158, out March 26, 2025. Batman #158 is the first chapter of the six-part “BATMAN: H2SH” saga, running monthly through August’s Batman #163.
Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee are returning to their acclaimed Batman: Hush storyline with a new chapter titled Batman: H2SH. This six-issue series kicks off with Batman #158, set to release on March 26, 2025, and will run monthly through August, concluding with Batman #163.
Batman #158, written by Jeph Loeb with artwork and a main cover by Jim Lee, Scott Williams, and Alex Sinclair, will also include a variety of variant covers by artists such as J. Scott Campbell, Gabriele Dell’Otto, Dan Mora, Lee Bermejo, Simone Di Meo, Tony S. Daniel, and Sean Gordon Murphy. Additional variants by Lee, Williams, and Sinclair will also be available.
The issue, priced at $4.99 for 40 pages, will offer a foil variant cover (by Lee, Williams, and Sinclair), a “Courtside” card stock variant (by Tony S. Daniel), and a blank sketch cover. Card stock variants will retail at $5.99, foil variants at $7.99, and a connecting card stock gatefold at $7.99. Collectors can also look for a limited-edition foil wraparound DC Showcase variant by Sean Gordon Murphy, priced at $24.99 and capped at 2,500 copies, available through comic shops and online.
Details about the storyline remain secret, but fans have been teased with an inked preview page from Batman #158. The main cover for the next issue, Batman #159, hints at Jason Todd’s involvement, sparking speculation about the twists and turns ahead in this six-month arc.
For readers eager to dive deeper into the H2SH saga, a prelude to the series appeared in the back of Justice League Unlimited #1, currently available wherever comics are sold.
In the lead-up to Batman #158, DC is celebrating with a series of Hush-themed variant covers throughout February, featuring work by artists like Mitch Gerads, Kaare Andrews, Dustin Nguyen, Leirix, Jorge Fornés, Giuseppe Camuncoli, and Tyler Kirkham.
