TMNT Tuesday returns this week with some tasty exclusive art and insight from artist Juan E. Ferreyra. Out April 16th, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #8 continues the Turtles’ battle with New York itself!
So, what’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #8 about?
Donnie’s on the edge! Once the most reliable and risk averse of the TMNT, Donatello’s mind is spinning out of control following his violent stay in captivity. Fortunately his brothers are there to protect him from the army of Foot Clan ninjas bent on destroying them all, but how can the Ninja Turtles save Donatello from the “voice” of their dead master Splinter that Donnie insists he’s hearing in his head!?
Ferreyra had this to say:
“I can’t wait for readers to grab issue #8, it’s my favorite issue so far since it’s from the point of view of my favorite Turtle, Leo!
The action scenes I had to come up with are so much fun, there’s a battle taking place in the subway that is all Turtle glory. Also, Leo faces Donnie and I got to draw two bad boys that I couldn’t wait to get my hands on!”
