Apple TV+’s animated series adapted from the beloved children’s books of Tony DiTerlizzi, WondLa, is set to return tomorrow. Ahead of the season two premiere, we have an exclusive clip from the first episode, “Home.”
WondLa is a futuristic coming-of-age story that follows teenager Eva 9. As her journey on the strange planet of Orbona continues, she discovers startling truths about her past and the world she calls home. The events pick up after season one’s shocking cliffhanger where Eva is drawn toward the feeling of no longer being alone. However, each new discovery leads to more questions. During her search for the truth, Eva finds herself pursued by a relentless force that believes she is the key to something even bigger. The new season is brimming with shocking revelations, sacrifice, and an existential fight for survival. In the end, Eva must make the tough choice of where she really belongs.
The exclusive clip finds Eva 9 in the last human city of New Attica. Despite finally finding her people, she still has a level of uneasiness. Imagine her surprise when she comes face to face with someone who looks just like her. Fans of the source material will know who the mysterious figure is.
