WWE NXT is live tonight at 8pm ET on The CW! Tonight, we’re making Battleground official as Joe Hendry and Trick Williams sign the contract for their TNA World Championship match. Let’s take a look at everything announced for tonight’s episode of WWE NXT:
WWE NXT card: May 13, 2025
Tony D’Angelo vs. Wes Lee

WWE’s official preview:
The Don is back in action for the first time since Stand & Deliver as he’ll take on Wes Lee.
Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo’s betrayal of The D’Angelo Family has destroyed the group, as Luca Crusifino is missing and Adriana Rizzo is in hiding, leaving Tony D’Angelo all alone.
Lee is determined to jump back into the NXT Title picture, and with Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont backing him up, the numbers are in his favor.
Can Tony D get the win on his own, or will Lee walk out on top?
Oba Femi vs. Charlie Dempsey

WWE’s official preview:
NXT Champion Oba Femi will square off against Charlie Dempsey in non-title action.
Myles Borne won a No. 1 Contender Battle Royal to earn a championship opportunity at Battleground, miffing his No Quarter Catch Crew teammate Charlie Dempsey.
Dempsey bad-mouthing The Ruler backstage led to Borne throwing down the challenge on his teammate’s behalf, setting the stage for this match.
Can Dempsey do the unthinkable and trip up Femi before Battleground?
Joe Hendry and Trick Williams sign the contract for Battleground

WWE’s official preview:
TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and No. 1 Contender Trick Williams will put pen to paper in a can’t-miss contract signing.
Williams and Hendry have been at odds since the TNA World Champion returned to NXT, and with NXT General Manager Ava and TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella in agreement, the two will clash at Battleground.
