DC has announced an all-new limited-edition custom comic titled Universe of Light: Lost in the Pages, written by Ivan Cohen and illustrated by M.L. Sanapo.
Available beginning May 23rd, the single-issue comic serves as a companion for guests at Gaylord Texan’s “Universe of Light featuring DC,” the 17,000 square foot walkthrough experience only at Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, TX.
So what’s Universe of Light: Lost in the Pages about?
In Universe of Light: Lost in the Pages, Starro the Conqueror has invaded Earth! The Justice League is Earth’s last line of defense against the mind-controlling menace of Starro the Conqueror, and the key to their victory is a weapon created by Cyborg and the League’s biggest fan…you, the reader!
Available for purchase on-site, the comic’s storytelling and interior art – mirrored by the attraction’s interior layout and massive displays – features DC Super Hero Cyborg enlisting visitors’ help as he and the Justice League defend Earth from DC Super-Villain, Starro the Conqueror. Guests of Gaylord Texan Resort’s “Universe of Light” walkthrough experience will explore Batman’s Gotham City and the Batcave, witness an aerial confrontation between Superman and Lex Luthor high above Metropolis, discover Wonder Woman’s home of Themyscira, and experience an epic battle between the Justice League and Starro. The attraction includes unique photo moments, interactive experiences and meet-and-greet opportunities with real-life DC Super Heroes.

At Gaylord Rockies in Aurora, CO., DC Summer will open May 24 to Sept. 1, 2025.
