Dark Horse Books is putting the spotlight on one of Star Wars’ most fearsome villains in their Hyperspace Stories graphic novel line with the upcoming release of Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories — Grievous. Hitting bookstores on January 13, 2026 (and comic shops January 14), this standalone story follows General Grievous during the height of the Clone Wars as he takes on Jedi forces in a deadly jungle mission.
Written by acclaimed screenwriter and Star Wars author Michael Moreci (The Bad Batch, Barbaric), the graphic novel features art by Caio Filipe (Lotus Land), colors by Dan Jackson, and lettering by ComiCraft. The cover comes from award-winning artist Michael Cho, who is creating cover art for each book in the Hyperspace Stories series.
The story centers on Grievous as he leads a brutal invasion of the jungle planet Katou, hoping to prove himself to Count Dooku. But when Jedi Knight Cardiff Baye and his clone troopers show up, Grievous is forced into a more cunning, stealth-based approach through the dangerous terrain. Will his raw power and killer instinct be enough to triumph—or will the Republic’s defenders outsmart the cyborg general?
Perfect for Star Wars fans of all ages, Hyperspace Stories — Grievous is available to pre-order now via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and your favorite local bookstore or comic shop.
