The upcoming Deadpool/Batman #1 arrives this September from Marvel Comics, with Batman/Deadpool #1 set to follow from DC in November. The crossover begins with a bang in a one-shot written by Zeb Wells and drawn by Greg Capullo, along with backup stories featuring more unexpected Marvel/DC pairings.
Marvel just revealed three brand-new covers for Deadpool/Batman #1, each offering a unique spin on the Merc with a Mouth’s Gotham debut. Mark Bagley’s foil variant pits the unlikely duo against none other than the Joker, Ryan Stegman’s variant pays homage to Todd McFarlane’s legendary Incredible Hulk #340 cover, and Skottie Young brings his signature adorable chaos to the historic crossover.
The setup? Deadpool takes a job that brings him to Gotham City — and when he runs into Batman, it’s unclear whether they’ll team up or throw down.
Preorders are open now, with more announcements on the way as Marvel and DC’s wildest crossover in years draws closer.
