Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross

WWE’s official preview:
Sami Zayn is poised to exert retribution on the treacherous Karrion Kross at SummerSlam.
After months of Kross trying to get inside Zayn’s head backstage, Zayn overcame Kross in an explosive showdown at WWE Night of Champions.
Since that contest, however, Sami has been put through hell by his dark adversary with The Harbinger of Doom constantly attacking his rival and attempting to force Zayn to admit that he is flawed. Kross injured Zayn and cost him his opportunity to be part of the World Heavyweight Title No. 1 Contender Gauntlet Match.
Zayn returned to action sooner then he probably should have to battle Kross in the ring. A lead pipe provided by Scarlett allowed Kross to defeat Zayn. Now, the stage is set for a showdown between the fierce foes at The Biggest Event of the Summer.
Randy Orton and Jelly Roll vs. Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul

WWE’s official preview:
At SummerSlam, Randy Orton will join forces with Jelly Roll against Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.
After an altercation on SmackDown, four-time Grammy-nominated artist Jelly Roll came to Saturday Night’s Main Event alongside Orton when he emerged to go to war with McIntyre, who was flanked by Paul.
In the height of the action, Jelly Roll pushed an interfering Paul to the ringside floor. The distraction gave The Viper enough time to regroup and hit the RKO on The Scottish Psychopath for the win. When Paul sucker punched Orton immediately after the bell, Jelly Roll got involved, blocking The Maverick’s punch before knocking his adversary out of the ring with a blow of his own. He didn’t see McIntyre, however, who blasted the singer with a brutal Claymore Kick.
Backstage, The Viper attempted to apologize to the singer for putting him in harm’s way, but Jelly Roll responded that their adversaries made a big mistake by underestimating him. In response, Orton suggested they settle things at The Biggest Event of the Summer.
Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez (c) vs. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

WWE’s official preview:
Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez will put the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on the line against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam.
At WWE Evolution, The Judgment Day retained the championship against Flair & Bliss, The Kabuki Warriors and Sol Ruca & Zaria in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match. Flair & Bliss, however, were not pinned in that bout. As a result, Flair secured a title showdown against Rodriguez and Perez at The Biggest Event of the Summer.
Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship

WWE’s official preview:
The Storm is coming to The Biggest Event of the Summer, as Jade Cargill is set to challenge WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton at SummerSlam.
Since Stratton cashed in the Money in the Bank contract on Nia Jax to capture the WWE Women’s Title, SmackDown has been running on Tiffy Time. The tough titleholder has taken on all challenges, whether on the mic or in championship showdowns against Jax, Charlotte Flair, and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
Cargill, however, might be her most powerful opponent to date. Fresh off her Queen of the Ring Final victory over Asuka at WWE Night of Champions and her No Holds Barred victory over Naomi at WWE Evolution, the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion looks primed for singles success.
Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed

WWE’s official preview:
At SummerSlam, Roman Reigns will join forces with “Main Event” Jey Uso against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, backed by “The Oracle” Paul Heyman.
At WrestleMania, Heyman betrayed Reigns and CM Punk with a pair of savage low blows and aligned with Seth Rollins. The Visionary soon anointed The Wiseman as The Oracle, and he helped Rollins establish a new faction with Reed and Breakker. After Rollins got injured against LA Knight on Saturday Night’s Main Event in July, though, The OTC returned and initiated a brawl with his old friend’s associates. He would not be alone for long, however, as Jey Uso soon charged in to help his cousin clear the ring with a double Spear on their dangerous adversaries.
Breakker and Reed have serious issues with Jey, and Breakker has claimed that Reigns is no longer relevant and that he is “The Big Dog” now, setting the stage for a can’t-miss tag bout at The Biggest Event of the Summer.
Gunther (c) vs. CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship

WWE’s official preview:
It’s The Ring General vs. The Best in the World at SummerSlam 2025 in a matchup fit for The Biggest Event of the Summer.
CM Punk emerged from a brutal No. 1 Contender Gauntlet Match and outlasted Bron Breakker on the July 14 edition of Raw to claim the title opportunity. Gunther is coming off a statement victory against Goldberg at Saturday Night’s Main Event that officially retired the WWE Hall of Famer.
Gunther and CM Punk are both generational Superstars that look very different on the surface, but it’s hard to pair up two more skilled competitors inside the squared circle. Last year, the Second City Saint competed in his first SummerSlam clash in 11 years but fell short against Drew McIntyre in Cleveland. The World Heavyweight Champion meanwhile is 2-0 all-time at SummerSlam with wins over Damian Priest and McIntyre the last two years.
CM Punk has been clear since his return to WWE that he’s committed to reclaiming championship gold. Will it be Gunther or Punk who steals the show at The Biggest Event of the Summer?

The Wyatt Sicks (c) vs. Andrade and Rey Fenix vs. #DIY vs. Fraxiom vs. Motor City Machine Guns vs. The Street Profits for the WWE Tag Team Championship (Six-Pack TLC Match)

WWE’s official preview:
At SummerSlam 2000, The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz and Edge & Christian collided in the first-ever TLC Match, pioneering this revolutionary matchup.
Twenty-five years later, Tables, Ladders and Chairs will return to SummerSlam, as the largest field ever assembled for a TLC Match will battle for the WWE Tag Team Title.
WWE Tag Team Champions The Wyatt Sicks will have their championships dangling high above the ring as they contend against The Street Profits, The Motor City Machine Guns, #DIY, Fraxiom, and Andrade & Rey Fenix.
For months, all six teams have gone to war, leaving SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis no choice but to announce the return of the TLC Match after The Wyatt Sicks’ title bout against Andrade and Fenix ended in chaos when the other SmackDown tag teams interfered.
This will be the first TLC Match to occur on a Premium Live Event since TLC 2020 and the first TLC Match to occur at SummerSlam since 2009.
Three of the teams have experience in TLC Matches, as then-WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits waged war with #DIY and Motor City Machine Guns on the April 25 episode of SmackDown. The match ended with Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins retaining the gold.
With six teams and 12 Superstars about to go all-out in one of WWE’s barbaric matches, which team will leave MetLife Stadium the WWE Tag Team Champions?
Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. AJ Styles for the Intercontinental Championship

WWE’s official preview:
The time has finally come for AJ Styles, as Dominik Mysterio can no longer outrun his challenger, as the two will square off in an Intercontinental Title clash at SummerSlam.
“Dirty Dom” and The Phenomenal One were slated to meet at Night of Champions, but an injury prevented Mysterio from competing. The Judgment Day provocateur would continue to flaunt a very convenient doctor’s note that forbid any competition or contact for Mysterio. Styles would haunt the champion around every turn, until finally the injury status was lifted and the match was set.
Mysterio has been out of action since early June and his last successful title defense came against Ocatagon Jr. at WWE Money in the Bank in a matchup that put luchador pedigree on display. Styles boasts wins over JD McDonagh, Finn Bálor and Dominik Mysterio in 2025, so if anyone has The Judgment Day’s number, it’s The Phenomenal One.
Solo Sikoa (c) vs. Jacob Fatu for the United States Championship (Steel Cage Match)

WWE’s official preview:
At SummerSlam, United States Champion Solo Sikoa will defend the title against Jacob Fatu in a Steel Cage Match.
Animosity between Sikoa and Fatu has intensified each week, and Fatu was recently arrested after Sikoa and The MFTs staged a car crash to make it look like The Samoan Werewolf was at fault.
Since Sikoa seemed so eager to get Fatu in a cage, it was determined that Sikoa will battle Fatu in a Steel Cage Match at The Biggest Event of the Summer.
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship (No Disqualification, No Countout; if Becky wins, Lyra can no longer challenge for the Intercontinental Championship as long as Becky is champion)
WWE’s official preview:

WWE’s official preview:
Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch is set to take on Lyra Valkyria in a title rematch at SummerSlam.
Valkyria was the very first Superstar to hold the the new Women’s Intercontinental Title. When she and Bayley were awarded an opportunity to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania, however, The Role Model was mysteriously taken out, an attack later revealed to be from Lynch herself.
The Man became Lyra’s replacement partner at The Showcase of the Immortals and, although they won the Women’s Tag Title, they lost it the following night and an irate Lynch suddenly turned on the Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
Lynch went on to capture the Women’s Intercontinental Championship from Valkyria with a handful of tights at WWE Money in the Bank 2025. Then Bayley eventually returned and at WWE Evolution 2025, Lynch successfully defended the gold against both Bayley and Valkyria in a Triple Threat Match.
After overcoming Bayley in a No. 1 Contender’s Match on Raw, Valkyria finally earned the right to to challenge Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Title.
On the July 21 episode of Raw, Lynch and Valkyria upped the ante, agreeing to face each other in a No DQ Match, where Valkyria will never be able to challenge Lynch again should she lose.
Naomi (c) vs. Rhea Ripley vs. IYO SKY for the Women’s World Championship

WWE’s official preview:
At SummerSlam, both Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY will challenge the new Women’s World Champion Naomi in a Triple Threat Match.
In the main event of the historic WWE Evolution PLE, Naomi interrupted an incredible battle between SKY and Ripley mid-bout to cash in her Money in the Bank contract to ultimately overcome both The Eradicator and The Genius of the Sky, capturing the Women’s World Title in an impromptu Triple Threat Match.
Back on Raw, both Ripley and SKY emerged to disrupt Naomi’s celebration. With both Superstars claiming that the new titleholder was holding each’s title respectively, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce decided that the three Superstars will settle matters in a total free for all at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
John Cena (c) vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship (Street Fight)

WWE’s official preview:
The highly anticipated WrestleMania rematch is set for SummerSlam, where Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena will defend the title against Cody Rhodes in a colossal Street Fight.
At The Showcase of the Immortals, Cena captured the title from Rhodes in controversial fashion and later retained against Randy Orton at WWE Backlash and CM Punk at WWE Night of Champions. The self-professed “Last Real Champion” has promised to ruin wrestling by finishing his farewell tour and taking the championship with him.
Not if Rhodes has anything to say about it, though. The American Nightmare won the 2025 King of the Ring Tournament at WWE Night of Champions by defeating Orton in the final and is laser-focused on beating Cena to take back the Undisputed WWE Title and save the industry.
Despite Cena trying to back out of the match, Rhodes managed to get The Greatest of All Time to sign the contract, before revealing that the match will be a Street Fight.
