Fans of Joe Kelly’s current Amazing Spider-Man run are in for double the web-slinging this November, as Marvel prepares to release Amazing Spider-Man #15 and #16. Featuring art by Pepe Larraz and John Romita Jr., the back-to-back issues crank up the action following Spidey’s brutal loss to new villain Hellgate, and the shocking revelation that there are now two Spider-Men.
One Spider-Man is blasting off into a cosmic adventure, complete with a new suit, new allies, and maybe even a new romance. The other is patrolling the streets of New York with a decidedly unfriendly approach to justice. Along the way, he’ll face Tombstone’s deadly new partner, Plague RX, whose powers punish Spidey like nothing before.
In issue #15 (on sale November 5), Spider-Man is drawn into a high-stakes duel against a massive alien beast to protect his new crew, learning surprising truths along the way. The issue also marks the first full appearance of a major new character.
Issue #16 (on sale November 19) shifts the focus to a dangerous new Spider-Slayer that threatens both Spidey and teen hero Kintsugi, while Aunt May delivers wisdom that will stick with readers. And of course, Plague RX isn’t done making trouble.
