Marvel Comics is marking the upcoming release of TRON: Ares, the next chapter in Disney’s legendary sci-fi saga, hitting theaters October 10, with a striking new line of TRON: Ares Variant Covers. Throughout October, select Marvel issues will feature heroes like Spider-Man, Captain America, and Scarlet Witch reimagined through the neon-soaked lens of the TRON universe.
This isn’t Marvel’s first trip to the Grid. Back in 2010, a set of TRON: Legacy variant covers thrilled fans, and now the concept returns bigger and bolder than ever. The new collection showcases Marvel icons as if they were Programs inside the digital frontier—suited up in glowing armor, speeding across Light Cycles, and battling in the name of the Users.
Each cover, brought to life by top-tier artists, draws inspiration from Ares, the film’s advanced Program tasked with crossing over from the digital realm into reality on a perilous mission.
The first five TRON: Ares variants are available to preview now, with all ten covers ready to preorder at comic shops everywhere.
