Our Channel Surfing TV picks have Sci-fi, murder, and singing. Upload comes to a conclusion with the release of its final season. Amateur sleuths take up a real case in The Thursday Murder Club. Then, East meets West in a new singing competition called KPOPPED.
Fighting Back
In the world of Upload, instead of dying, people can upload their consciousness into a virtual afterlife. The story follows a man named Nathan who worked as a computer programmer. When he passes away prematurely, he is uploaded to the affluent land of Lakeview where he learns to navigate this new digital heaven.
In the final season, sentient AI begins to turn evil and it sets its sights on destroying Lakeview and the world. All the main characters must team up one last time to survive. If the end wasn’t big enough, they must deal with greedy executives, mysteries, and heartbreak both in the virtual and real world.
The four-part series finale of Upload premieres today, August 25, on Prime Video.
