Dark Horse Comics is bringing Matthew J. Rainwater’s hit WEBTOON Trailer Park Warlock to print for the very first time! Known for his work on Plants vs. Zombies and Garage Raja, Rainwater’s supernatural comedy joins Dark Horse’s growing library of Webtoon-to-print collections. The first 26 chapters will be collected in Trailer Park Warlock Volume 1, scheduled for release in April 2026, with additional volumes planned.
“I’m so proud to see this work make its way into print with the support of a publisher whose care and vision mean the world to me and a great many readers worldwide,” said Rainwater. “My heart is full to burst with joy on this announcement, and I can’t wait to hold the final copy in my hands. This is truly a childhood dream being fulfilled today!”
In Trailer Park Warlock Volume 1, readers meet Jake Baker—a blue-collar warlock just trying to scrape by. Whether it’s casting quick-fix spells, repairing cursed tractors, or fending off undead nuisances, Jake’s daily grind is equal parts magical mishap and supernatural survival. With colorful characters, vibrant artwork, and a wry sense of humor, this series explores what it really means to be the resident spellcaster—especially when your neighborhood rests on cinderblocks.
The 360-page paperback (6.625” x 10.1875”) will hit comic shops on April 7, 2026, and bookstores on April 8, 2026, for $29.99. Pre-orders are available now through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, local comic shops, and independent bookstores. Visit ComicShopLocator.com or Bookshop.org to find a retailer near you.
