Lara Croft is back in action. Dark Horse Comics, in partnership with Crystal Dynamics, is set to launch Tomb Raider: Sacred Artifacts, a brand-new four-issue miniseries that continues the legend following the events of Tomb Raider: Underworld.
Written by Casey Gilly (Return of Sleepy Hollow) with art by Antonio Di Caprio (Samuel Stern, KAYLA), colors by Eren Angiolini (Critical Role: Tales of Exandria–Artagan, DC Pride 2025), and lettering from AndWorld Design (He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Canto), the series promises high-stakes adventure and a perfect entry point for longtime fans and newcomers alike. The debut issue also features cover art from Taurin Clarke (Maskerade, Miles Morales: Spider-Man).
From surviving shipwrecks and betrayals to outwitting ancient traps, Lara Croft’s legend has always been built on survival. But when Croft Manor is reduced to ashes, Lara is forced to reexamine her life—only to be drawn back into danger when a shadowy enemy gains control of a powerful and all-too-familiar artifact. Her pursuit sparks a globe-spanning journey filled with danger, discovery, and the thrill of raiding tombs once again.
Tomb Raider: Sacred Artifacts #1 (of 4) arrives in comic shops on January 14, 2026 for $4.99. For more details and to find a store near you, visit Comic Shop Locator.
