Skybound and Act 4 announce ‘George Pérez’s The New Teen Titans Artist’s Edition’

This oversized 12″ x 17″ hardcover showcases a wide selection of Pérez’s original art—highlighting covers and a curated run of pages from The New Teen Titans #1–40.

Skybound is teaming with Scott Dunbier’s Act 4 Publishing to bring a cornerstone DC series to the acclaimed Artist’s Edition line: George Pérez’s The New Teen Titans Artist’s Edition, arriving in comic shops June 17, 2026, with a bookstore release on June 30, 2026. The volume continues an ongoing multi-book arrangement with DC and presents an up-close look at how the Teen Titans took shape through Pérez’s original pages and covers.

This oversized 12″ x 17″ hardcover showcases a wide selection of Pérez’s original art—highlighting covers and a curated run of pages from The New Teen Titans #1–40—alongside a heartfelt new introduction by Pérez’s longtime collaborator and co-creator Marv Wolfman. “George Pérez’s work struck a chord with fans. His craftsmanship and beautiful imagery showed, to me, his true love of drawing–you could feel the care he put into his art,” said Scott Dunbier. “George’s work is long overdue for an Artist’s Edition and I’m happy it is finally happening.”

Debuting in 1980, Wolfman and Pérez’s New Teen Titans was a watershed for DC, with Robin, Starfire, Wonder Girl, Raven, Kid Flash, Cyborg, and Beast Boy winning over readers and competing head-to-head with the era’s biggest titles. “George Pérez is one of the greatest storytellers of my lifetime,” said Sean Mackiewicz, SVP, Publisher, Skybound. “This volume captures his masterful linework like never before, with all the dazzling detail, heartwarming (and heartbreaking) emotion, and awe-inspiring action he rendered on the board.”

As with other Artist’s Editions, the book reproduces original art in full-size, high-resolution color scans to capture ink washes, blue pencil, white-out, and every subtle mark—presenting the pages as close as possible to viewing them on the artist’s own board.

This release is the latest from the Act 4 Publishing/Skybound partnership. Previously announced volumes include late-2025’s Jim Aparo’s DC Classics Artist’s Edition and 2026 titles such as The Amazing Spider-Man by Steve Ditko Artist’s Edition, Darwyn Cooke’s The Complete Spirit Connoisseur Edition, Wally Wood’s EC Stories Artist’s Edition – EXPANDED, and Mike Mignola’s Hellboy in Hell Book 2 Artist’s Edition. Looking ahead, planned projects include J. Scott Campbell’s Danger Girl Artist Edition, Dave Stevens’ Covers and Stories Connoisseur Edition, Jason Pearson’s Body Bags Artist’s Edition, and Paul Smith’s Leave It to Chance Artist’s Edition, with full publishing details to come.

George Pérez’s The New Teen Titans Artist’s Edition (ISBN 978-1-5343-3135-8, SRP $150.00) hits comic shops on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, and bookstores on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
