After selling out on release, Deadpool/Batman #1 is swinging back into comic shops on October 29 with a hotly anticipated second printing. This new edition will showcase a variant cover by Ryan Stegman featuring LOGO—the surprise Marvel/DC mashup anti-hero who made his debut in the issue’s secret backup story by Stegman and Ryan North. Collectors will also find new virgin variants of the original covers by Mark Bagley and Frank Miller.
The historic crossover event brings Marvel and DC together for the first time in decades. The story kicks off with Deadpool landing a job in Gotham City, where he inevitably collides with the World’s Greatest Detective. Will Batman see Wade Wilson as an ally—or a menace to be stopped? The lead story comes from writer Zeb Wells (Amazing Spider-Man, Deadpool & Wolverine) and superstar artist Greg Capullo (Batman, X-Men).
The issue also includes a stacked lineup of Marvel/DC team-ups: Daredevil and Green Arrow by Kevin Smith and Adam Kubert, Captain America and Wonder Woman by Chip Zdarsky and Terry Dodson, Jeff the Land Shark and Krypto by Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru, Rocket Raccoon and Green Lantern by Al Ewing and Dike Ruan, and Old Man Logan with Batman from The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller. Plus, fans get their first introduction to LOGO, the brutal new hybrid anti-hero from North and Stegman.
