Image Comics is going big next month, unleashing a wave of Youngblood team-up variant covers across 30 of its biggest titles to celebrate the upcoming launch of Youngblood (2025) #1 out on November 5th. Expect Shaft, Badrock, Chapel, Diehard, and the rest of the crew plastered across comic shop shelves in a crossover event dripping with ’90s flair and turbo-charged energy.
November marks Rob Liefeld’s much-anticipated return, and he’s not holding back. Youngblood (2025) #1 will arrive with a staggering lineup of 27 retailer-exclusive covers, 30 team-up variants, black-and-white editions, and incentive variants — a true showcase of Liefeld’s over-the-top style and influence.
“This has been the most humbling experience for me as a creator and the most exciting experience for me as a fan,” Liefeld said. “To see epic, legendary talents such as Gary Frank, Ivan Reis, Bryan Hitch, Dave Finch, and so many others depict Youngblood across these Image titles is as thrilling as you could imagine. The original Youngblood #1 helped launch the Image Revolution in the early ’90s, selling over one million copies and cementing its place in comics history. Now, with Liefeld once again steering his signature creation, Youngblood is primed to make another big impact.
