Fine Dining

One of the most prestigious honors in the culinary world is earning a Michelin Star. Restaurants and chefs put in a lot of hard work dreaming of one day receiving such a recognition. The new series Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars delivers a look behind the process from both the restaurant and judges’ side.

The show is hosted by Jesse Burgess who is a food expert and co-founder of the global food and travel platform Topjaw. He visits food hotspots such as New York, Chicago, the U.K., Italy, Los Angeles, and more capturing the process in the kitchens. He also conducts rare interviews with the anonymous inspectors to gain their perspectives.

Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars premieres Friday, October 10, on Apple TV+.

Showcasing a Legend

John Candy was a comedian and actor who appeared in many television series and films during the 70s, 80s, and 90s. His warm personality on and off screen made him beloved by fans and his peers alike. Unfortunately, he passed away at the young age of 43.

John candy: I Like Me celebrates the life and career of the star while also telling the story of his tragic death. It includes many never-before-seen archival footage, imagery, and interviews with some of Hollywood’s biggest names. The film is directed by Colin Hanks and produced by Ryan Reynolds.

The global debut of John Candy: I Like Me is Friday, October 10, on Prime Video.

A Big Conspiracy

Tim Robinson has co-created some pretty funny series in the past few years. He brought us the underrated Detroiters as well as the award-winning I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson. He works with frequent collaborator Zach Kanin on his latest project The Chair Company

The story follows a man who begins investigating a far-reaching conspiracy following an embarrassing moment at work. In addition to Robinson, the show stars Lake Bell, Sophie Lillis, Will Price, and Joseph Tudisco. Lou Diamond Phillips will have a recurring role.

The series premiere of The Chair Company airs Sunday, October 12, on HBO.
