Fighting Crime as a Family

In the animated film Merry Little Batman, Damian Wayne took his first steps towards becoming a superhero when he saved Christmas from the villains of Gotham. In Bat-Fam, he continues his training while Wayne Manor gains even more residents.

Little Batman, Bruce, and Alfred welcome in Alicia Pennyworth, Ra’s al Ghul, Man-Bat, and recently reformed bad girl, Claire. Together, they manage their everyday lives as an unconventional family while also trying to keep the streets safe.

Stream the entire first season of Bat-Fam beginning today, November 10, on Prime Video.

Winner Takes All

As Japan begins turning towards the modern age, 292 fallen samurai are summoned for a life changing opportunity. Kudoku is a dangerous game where the Last Samurai Standing receives 100 billion yen.

Each participant has their own motives from escaping poverty to proving they are not relics of the past. They all battle each other across the country from Kyoto to Tokyo until only one of them remains.  

Last Samurai Standing releases Thursday, November 13, on Netflix.

Starting a Revolution

Ken Burns is a widely recognized historical documentarian. The subjects of his projects vary from famous figures to influential events to other interesting subjects. His latest film, The American Revolution, has been divided into a six-part limited series.

Directors Burns, Sara Botstein, and David Schmidt along with writer Geoffrey Ward bring us the tale of struggle during an eight-year war for independence. It is an expansive look into the founding of the United States of America all told in Burns’s signature storytelling.

The American Revolution premieres Sunday, November 16, on PBS.
