DC Comics has dropped a surprise crossover comic with Marvel Comics, available on DC Universe Infinite. Everyone with the free plan can read the comic. The free comic is written by Jeremy Adams with art by Adrian Gutierrez.
That’s not all – Marvel released a Thor/Shazam crossover on Marvel Unlimited today, too.
So what’s DC/Marvel: The Flash/Fantastic Four about?
It’s DC/Marvel: The Flash/Fantastic Four! The Fantastic Four are coming back to the Baxter Building after a mission on Saturn, when they are surprised to find Gorilla Grodd scaling the building, with The Flash (Barry Allen) hot on his (non-existent) tail! Grodd is after Reed Richards’ mental amplifier tech, and using The Flash as his unwitting (mind-controlled) ally, tries to break into FF headquarters to steal whatever he can get his grubby little paws on, taking both teams on an adventure through time and space!
This new comic follows Marvel and DC’s Deadpool/Batman, with Batman/Deadpool coming to comic shops next week. With this surprise release, it appears crossovers will continue in surprising ways. We already know Spider-Man and Superman are crossing over in 2026.
