Predator enters the MMA cage in Marvel’s brutal new series ‘Predator: Bloodshed’

This February, Marvel Comics is turning up the heat on the Predator universe with Predator: Bloodshed — a five-issue, fight-to-the-death spectacle from writer Jordan Morris (Predator: Black, White & Blood) and artist Roland Boschi (Rogue Storm). Set in the brutal world of underground martial arts, the series asks one chilling question: what happens when a Yautja steps into the ring?

In the near future, the planet’s fiercest fighters gather for a secret, no-holds-barred tournament. Glory, pride, and massive paydays are on the line — until an uninvited challenger crashes the event. When a Predator joins the fray, the competition shifts from championship to survival. The only way out? Team up… or die trying.

“Getting to be part of Predator: Black, White & Blood was such an honor,” Morris said. “The Yautja is one of the coolest characters in pop culture, and now we’re pushing things even further — longer, crazier, and bloodier.”

Morris describes Bloodshed as the ultimate mashup of Predator mayhem and martial arts chaos. “An underground fighting tournament is the perfect challenge for the galaxy’s greatest hunter,” he explained. “I grew up on fighting games and kung fu movies, so this is my dream scenario — watching a Predator absolutely wreck shop.”

Boschi, no stranger to high-impact storytelling, is equally fired up: “I’ve loved Predator since the original film — the hunters becoming the hunted, the explosions, the tension. Mixing that with the grit of an MMA tournament? It’s going to be a thrill.”

With jaw-dropping covers by Ken Lashley and the kind of kinetic, bone-crunching art Boschi is known for, Predator: Bloodshed #1 promises readers pure, gorgeous carnage when it hits comic shops this February.
