Dani Moonstar is finally stepping into the spotlight with her first-ever solo series, arriving this March. Launching as part of the new Shadows of Tomorrow era, Moonstar is a five-issue limited run from writer Ashley Allen (Magik) and artist Edoardo Audino (Astonishing X-Men Infinity Comic).
Dani’s résumé is stacked—leader of the New Mutants, mentor to the next wave of mutant heroes, and a Valkyrie of Asgard—and now she’s facing a danger only she’s equipped to handle. The series dives deep into why she’s one of the X-Men’s most formidable figures, sending her on a mission that draws on both her mutant abilities and her mystical Valkyrie gifts. Marvel is positioning this as the beginning of big things ahead for Moonstar.
