‘Exquisite Corpses’ takes over 2026: New tour dates, exclusive cards, and massive surprises revealed!

‘Exquisite Corpses’ is coming back bigger than ever in 2026, with new tour stops, exclusive game cards, and creator appearances that promise some of the biggest surprises yet for horror fans.

The Tiny Onion team and the Corpse Crew are gearing up for another year on the road, announcing new 2026 stops for the wildly popular Corpse Tour — the live event series built around James Tynion IV, Michael Walsh, and the creative team behind Image Comics’ hit horror title Exquisite Corpses. Each tour stop brings fans face-to-face with the creators through an intimate Q&A, signings, exclusive cards for Exquisite Corpses: The Game (the beta is already live), and a full slate of merch.

The 2026 leg kicks off in January at Tate’s Comics + Toys in Fort Lauderdale, celebrating the release of Exquisite Corpses #9, co-written by Tynion and Tyler Boss with art by Walsh and Valentine De Landro. February takes the team overseas for the debut of the French edition, followed by a March stop at Vault of Midnight in Ann Arbor to mark issue #11. In April, they’ll head to The Nerd Store in Salt Lake City for the penultimate issue, #12. A special May event will celebrate the release of Exquisite Corpses #13, the final chapter of Season One, with more details still under wraps. The crew will also return to San Diego Comic-Con with a July stop at Now or Never, with additional fall tour dates slated for September and November.

The 2025 tour set a high bar, drawing thousands of fans across ten locations in three countries. That energy, Tynion says, is exactly why they’re doing it again. “This past year, for the launch of Exquisite Corpses, I throttled back my convention appearances and dove headfirst into brick and mortar retailers all over the country,” said Tynion. “The experience has been so incredible. Getting to meet and interact with the homegrown communities that can only happen at your Local Comic shop. I’m thrilled to say that Corpse Tour 2025 was just the beginning. See you out there!”

Jazzlyn Stone, Director of Communications for Tiny Onion, echoed that excitement. “Working with comics shops across the world, getting to meet Exquisite Corpses fans in person has been a highlight of the year—James fans continue to be the best in the industry,” said Stone. “After the success of the first year, we’re excited to extend the Corpse Tour into a second year.”

Since launch, Exquisite Corpses—the battle-royale style horror series created by Tynion, Walsh, and the rotating “Corpse Crew” of A-list comics talent—has surpassed 500,000 copies sold. Tiny Onion has also rolled out a beta version of the tabletop adaptation, Exquisite Corpses: The Game, with a full Kickstarter planned for 2026. Fans can already collect game cards bundled in polybagged comic variants and at live events.

Set in a small Maine town turned battleground every five years on Halloween, the series follows twelve elite killers dropped into Oak Valley to compete for survival—while everyday citizens simply try to make it through the night. Issue #1 is available to read for free digitally, and the back half of Season One promises major twists leading to a finale designed to leave readers stunned.

The series is crafted through a writer’s room led by Tynion and Walsh and fueled by the collaborative “exquisite corpse” structure, with each creator building on the last. The Corpse Crew includes Adam Gorham, Becca Carey, Che Grayson, Claire Roe, Gavin Fullerton, Jordie Bellaire, Marianna Ignazzi, Pornsak Pichetshote, Tyler Boss, and Valentine De Landro—an all-star lineup shaping one of comics’ most ambitious horror projects.
