Marvel has unveiled its March 2025 Spider-Man solicitations, and they pull readers deeper into DEATH SPIRAL, a high-stakes crossover that brings Spider-Man, Venom, and Carnage onto a collision course with devastating consequences.
Spinning directly out of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, VENOM, and EDDIE BROCK: CARNAGE, Death Spiral is crafted by a powerhouse trio of writers — Joe Kelly, Al Ewing, and Charles Soule — with art from Ed McGuinness, Carlos Gómez, and Jesús Saíz. The event kicks off with AMAZING SPIDER-MAN/VENOM: DEATH SPIRAL #1, a special one-shot arriving in February, before tearing through AMAZING SPIDER-MAN and VENOM issues through April. Now, Marvel has revealed what awaits readers in March with AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #23–25 and VENOM #255.
Fresh off his return to Earth, Spider-Man immediately finds himself in Carnage’s crosshairs — and this time it’s personal. Carnage has learned Spider-Man’s secret identity after uncovering it in the mind of his latest host: Eddie Brock. As Spider-Man and Venom unite to take down the murderous symbiote, the situation spirals even further when Peter Parker discovers a jaw-dropping truth: Mary Jane is the ALL-NEW Venom.
The danger escalates with the debut of Torment, a mysterious serial killer whose brutal crimes link Spider-Man, Venom, and Carnage in unexpected ways. With loved ones targeted and bodies piling up, the unlikely trio must work together to uncover Torment’s identity and stop the carnage before the damage becomes irreversible.
This murderous mystery is positioned as a crucial storyline leading directly into next year’s landmark AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1000, making Death Spiral essential reading for Spider-Man fans.
Read on to learn more about the twisted path ahead as Marvel’s most iconic wall-crawler and its deadliest symbiotes hurtle toward disaster.
