Wolf premieres Tuesday, December 30, on AMC+ and Shudder.
Taking Down the System
The Demon King Phenomenon plagues the world of Sentenced To Be a Hero. In order to keep the frontlines stocked with soldiers, heroism is a form of punishment. Death doesn’t even serve as an escape since they are resurrected and carry on the fight.
Xylo Forbatz is such a person living a Hero sentence. He encounters a mysterious goddess who might be the key to stopping the Demon King Phenomenon. The two form an alliance that inspires a rebellion not only against the evil, but also the system that keeps Xylo and his ilk in their eternal punishment.
Stream the first episode of Sentenced To Be a Hero beginning Saturday, January 3, on Crunchyroll.
