A Marvel Television Special Presentation: The Punisher: One Last Kill launches May 12 on Disney+.

As we’ve hit the halfway point in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, Disney+ is already looking ahead to the next addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, A Marvel Television Special Presentation: The Punisher: One Last Kill. Today, a trailer was released providing our first look at the special, which premieres May 12. 

In the video, the Punisher looks like he’s wrestling with a lot of personal demons. All the many dark and questionable things he has done begin to affect his mental health. It doesn’t look like he can find any salvation. The official synopsis can be found below.

As Frank Castle searches for meaning beyond revenge, an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight.

The Punisher: One Last Kill is co-written by Jon Bernthal and Reinaldo Marcus Green, who also serves as the director. It is executive produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat, Bernthal, and Green. Trevor Waterson serves as co-executive producer with Eleena Khamedoost serving as supervising producer.
