Marvel is shining a spotlight on one of its darker rising villains this August with Origins of the Hood: Marvel Rivals #1, a new tie-in comic written by Paul Allor and illustrated by Francesco Archidiacono.
The issue dives into the past of Parker Robbins, better known as the Hood, tracing his path from a kid who idolized heroes to someone driven by power and ambition. It’s a character-focused story that explores the pain and choices that shaped him into the figure fans know today.
Originally released as part of the Marvel Rivals Infinity Comic, the story is now coming to print, bringing along appearances from characters like Captain America and Kingpin while expanding the world connected to the game.
The issue features a main cover by Paco Diaz and a variant by Federico Sabbatini. Fans can preorder the issue now, and those looking for more can check out Marvel Rivals: Duel of Kings #1 or follow the ongoing Infinity Comic chapters on Marvel Unlimited.
