Dark Horse Comics has unveiled its full plans for San Diego Comic-Con 2026, featuring four days of creator signings, exclusive panels, free giveaways, and appearances from some of the biggest names in comics.
Located at booth #2615, Dark Horse will once again offer free creator autographs, complimentary prints and signing cards while supplies last, convention exclusives, and displays from Middle-earth Enterprises, Zing Toys, and Absurd Ventures. Select high-demand signings will require wristbands to be distributed beginning the day before and on the day of each event.
Major signings throughout the weekend
The publisher’s schedule spans nearly every corner of its publishing line, with highlights including:
- Thursday, July 23: Jeff Lemire (Black Hammer), Stan Sakai (Usagi Yojimbo), Eric Powell, Becky Cloonan, Jackson Lanzing, Collin Kelly, Amy Chu, Jody Houser, David M. Booher, and more.
- Friday, July 24: Dan Houser (American Caper), Nathan Fillion, Heath Corson, Soo Lee (Witness Point), David Dastmalchian (Kingdom of Earth), Jonathan Hickman and Nick Spencer (Three Worlds / Three Moons), the Masters of the Universe team, Terry Moore, and creators behind Avatar Legends.
- Saturday, July 25: Kelly Sue DeConnick, Patton Oswalt and Jordan Blum (Minor Threats), Tyler Boss, Zack Kaplan, Connor Goldsmith, and a marquee signing with Frank Miller, Ryan Benjamin, and Alex Sinclair.
- Sunday, July 26: Tom King, Tate Brombal, Julio Anta, Jordan Blum, Tim Seeley, and another opportunity to meet Wendy and Richard Pini.
Many of the weekend’s biggest signings, including Witness Point, Kingdom of Earth, Three Worlds / Three Moons, Minor Threats, American Caper, and Frank Miller, will require wristbands.
Panels spotlight creator-owned comics and fan favorites
Dark Horse’s programming includes several notable panels across the convention.
Thursday features a live Dungeons & Dragons actual play session followed by Dark Horse Licensed Comics, highlighting franchises including Masters of the Universe, Magic: The Gathering, Cyberpunk 2077, and Tomb Raider. Fans can also celebrate 10 years of Black Hammer with Jeff Lemire and friends during a special anniversary panel.
Friday includes an Avatar panel exploring the future of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, along with a dedicated Three Worlds / Three Moons panel featuring Jonathan Hickman and Nick Spencer discussing the ambitious new science fiction universe.
Saturday’s lineup includes Star-Powered Storytelling, bringing together Patton Oswalt, David Dastmalchian, Jordan Blum, and collaborators to discuss creating comics alongside acting careers, followed by a Usagi Yojimbo panel celebrating more than 40 years of Stan Sakai’s iconic rabbit ronin.
The weekend wraps up Sunday with Dark Horse Comics: 40 Years of Comic Nerds, celebrating the publisher’s legacy while teasing upcoming creator-owned series, licensed comics, and future projects.
