Launching today, October 21, Ekos Volume 2 continues the ambitious, high-concept fantasy series first introduced in 2003 by creators David Maisel and Aspen Comics founder Michael Turner. The new campaign promises to expand on the world of Ekos with lavish production, exclusive editions, and the kind of high-end presentation that fans of both Turner and Maisel have come to expect.
All the tier details are now live on Kickstarter, with tier prices ranging from $50 to $2,895 for the most exclusive rewards. Most tiers in the campaign include all of the rewards of the preceding tiers, with two categories of rarity:
- Kickstarter Limited: Available to anyone who wishes to back the project on Kickstarter, and will not be reprinted anywhere else.
- Tier Limited: Rewards available only at the noted tiers and beyond, and not available as à-la-carte add-ons.

Ekos Volume 2 is available as either an overrsized, hardcover graphic novel with a Kickstarter exclusive dust jacket, or in single issue format (Ekos Volume 2 #1-4), with plentiful variant cover options and bundles among the Kickstarter tiers. Ekos Volume 2 features the returning creative team of Aspen Comics all-stars including colorist Peter Steigerwald, writer J.T. Krul, artist Alex Konat, inker Mark Roslan, and letterer Josh Reed. Special covers will be available from superstar cover artists from across the industry, including David Nakayama, Kendrick Lim, David Mack, Alexander Lozano, Tyler Kirkham, and more.
