Unboxing/Review: Saga Lying Cat limited edition 8-inch statue

Everyone’s favorite space opera feline graces the shelves of Saga-obsessed AiPT!.

It’s been a little over a week since New York Comic Con and over this past weekend I finally managed to fully unpack, clean up, hang my prints and find places for all the collectibles I brought home with me. This year quite a few things managed to make their way into my bags (my wallet is still hurting) and make they way home with me. Out of all the purchases I made at NYCC, one sticks out as a clear favorite: the beautiful 8-inch limited edition resin Lying Cat statue from the world of Saga. Brian K. Vaughan’s and Fiona Staples’s space opera/fantasy comic book is one of my current favorites and a must read for any comic fan.

While $75 is a bit expensive for comic book merchandise, I was more than pleased with my purchase. The statue is absolutely beautiful and the paint job captures all of the character’s detail. My favorite part by far was the inclusion of magnets to allow for easy assembling/disassembling and avoiding breaks in the event of an accidental fall. I can’t say enough good things about how well the team behind the painting and design did. This is a must have for any Saga fan.

Don’t forget, this is a limited edition of 3,000, and I saw quite a few walking away from the Image booth at NYCC. Don’t wait or you may miss out!

The limited edition 8-inch Lying Cat statue is available for purchase through The Skybound Shop for $75.00.
