Thrilljoy is the new kid on the block with regards to pop culture collectibles. The company founded by former Funko CEO Brian Mariotti has exhibited at big events this year such as San Diego Comic-Con and New York Comic Con, and its products can be found at retail stores including Hot Topic. Recently, AIPT attended Thrilljoy’s holiday preview event to receive a closer look at its latest offerings.
PIX! Is the main line of vinyl figures standing under five inches tall. They have an adorable quality to them while also maintaining a high level of detail to accurately resemble the pop culture counterpart. Collecting the figures also incorporates a chase quality to add a little more excitement usually at a 1:6 chance, but there are even items at a higher rarity.
Comic fans can enjoy the DC selections. There is a Joker figure that comes with chases Egghead and King Tut. Fans of Teen Titans Go! can pick up Beast Boy, or if lucky, two versions of Cyborg. Then from Batman: The Animated Series there are two types of Scarecrow.
Other Thrilljoy options from television include two variants on Appa from Avatar: The Last Airbender as well as Wirt and Greg from Over the Garden Wall.
Characters from film are well represented in the PIX! line. There is a wide selection from the Dragon Warrior Po from Kung Fu Panda to The Dude from The Big Lebowski to Cher from Clueless.
Additional movie related PIX! figures include the basic and super chase versions of Knives Chau and Scott Pilgrim from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Morpheus and Neo from The Matrix.
Finally, we can’t forget the Thrilljoy mascots Redd, Tux, and Bloo. Some of them are even holiday themed with Bloo in a National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation costume.
No matter your fandom, Thrilljoy has an extensive selection of pop culture collectibles If you are looking for a present this holiday season, check out the website for offerings new and old.
