The announcement was the third win for King, who is the most nominated creator of this year’s ceremonies following Best Writer, and Best Short Story. It was also the second for Mitch Gerads, who previously won the Best Penciller/Inker award for his work on Mister Miracle. Observant readers will note that, per the image above, these are not the first wins for the series or these creators, who also won at the 2018 ceremony.
