‘Superman & Lois’ series is in development for The CW

Written by former Flash showrunner, Todd Helbing.

It looks like the world’s greatest superhero is set to headline his own show again, alongside intrepid reporter Lois Lane. TVLine reports that Superman & Lois is being developed by Warner Bros. TV.

It’ll follow “the world’s most famous Super Hero and comic books’ most famous journalist,” dealing with all the “stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.” If it goes forward, Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch would be set to return as Superman and Lois, respectively.

Hoechlin made his debut as the Man of Steel back in 2016 in the Supergirl season 2 premiere, with Tulloch debuting as Lois Lane in last year’s Elseworlds crossover. Former Flash showrunner Todd Helbing will write and Executive Produce the series, while Greg Berlanti (Doom Patrol), Sarah Schechter (Supergirl) and Geoff Johns (Doomsday Clock) will also Executive Produce.

You can catch Superman and Lois next in December’s Crisis on Infinite Earths.
