AIPT will continue some of its planned coverage of SXSW. We have been in contact with creators and their representatives in order to continue to give films coverage. We will respect all embargoes and work to give these films and our readers the coverage we had planned.
I think most of us have day jobs and while we’re at said day job, we imagine getting our big break and getting the dream job. In this episodic pilot, Cooper’s Bar, characters come together to discuss their big ideas and the what if’s and what could be’s if they only got their shot. Cooper’s Bar is about a group of everyday people trying who are working their way toward their dream job.
Cooper, played by Louis Mustillo is a bartender in his backyard with his friends for clientele. While slinging drinks, he muses about getting his big acting break. He’s in good company because his friend Casey (Brandon Washington) is a postal service worker who just wrote a Christian horror movie. Rhea Seehorn (Better Call Saul) gives a delightful performance as an oblivious rich executive who is not shy about asserting her power.
Funny and painfully realistic, Cooper’s Bar is about anyone trying to make their dreams happen.
