When Marvel Comics revealed their release schedule many lamented the lack of X-Men event X of Swords. It’s an event even the Hollywood Reporter was talking about. The event was originally set for a July release, but today Marvel Editor in Chief C.B. Cebulski has let it be known the event is back on for September. Not only does this image give us a little more detail on what is to come, but it’s a fabulous piece of art by Pepe Larraz and colors by Marte Gracia. Fans should note a few things right off the bat like Apocalypse being front and center, some Egyptian looking baddies in the red clouds, and Cable, Beast, and some other fan-favorite mutants backing up the once bringer of doomsday turned hero Apocalypse! The art also features a title X of Swords: Creation which may or may not be the event title.

With the event shifting two months many can expect more news to come as far as how other X-Men books shifted like Children of the Atom and X-Factor very soon.
