Adventures in Movies! Looks at… ‘WrestleMassacre’

Blake and Nathaniel talk about one of the worse movies of the year and why they loved it.

The gang from Adventures in Movies! watches a lot of films. Every once in a while they see one they want to talk a little more about. Welcome to Adventures in Movies! Looks at…

People love to describe some movies as “so bad they are good.” This is usually not the case. What they are talking about are horrible movies that are fun to riff on at that moment. These are not the types of things you would ever watch again, though. Worse are the movies that are purposely made to be bad. Are they funny? Sometimes, but they lack any charm. Trying to do something bad on purpose never works. There is a reason the people who fondly remember Samurai Cop do not even know there is a sequel.

WrestleMassacre is a throwback. A true “so bad it’s good” movie that would be legendary if it came out in a different time. Blake and Nathaniel talk about what makes it so great, what it should have done differently, and whether the awfulness ever took them out of the film.
