Sometimes an idea can be too crazy. A live-action Frosty the Snowman movie is not something anyone was anticipated or asking for, but what do audiences know, right? According to Deadline, producers Jon Berg and Greg Silverman of Stampede with Geoff Johns of Madghost, Roy Lee, and Jason Momoa must know something as they are producing a live-action Frosty the Snowman movie.
Deadline is also reporting David Berenbaum, who was co-producer on the movie Elf–and also wrote the Elf: Buddy’s Musical Christmas–is writing the script to the Frosty the Snowman film which has already been listed on IMDB.com.
In the very same Deadline article Berg cheekily said, “From his role as a fearsome count in a land of ice and fire to the oceanic success we all had with Aquaman, it felt only right to realize Jason this time out of snow.”

This news comes at an interesting time for Warner Bros. considering Ray Fischer publically called out both Berg and Johns enabling Joss Whedon to treat Justice League set cast and crew in a “gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable” manner.
There has yet to be a release date announced, but Warner Bros & Stampede Ventures will likely have a movie out to audiences by 2022 at the earliest.
