Throughout the day today, Marvel Comics creators have been posting Spider-Man teasers with the hashtag #SpiderManBeyond. These tweets might suggest these creators are taking over Spider-Man after Nick Spencer closes out his run with Amazing Spider-Man #74. Or it could be an entirely new project too.
It’s too early to tell what this project is all about, but based on these teasers it’s fairly certain these creators are involved with a Spidey project of some kind. It’s fairly obvious whatever this project might be it’s a high-profile one given the slick design and cool art shown already.
It all started with writer Zeb Wells who tweeted a Beyond logo with a spider logo dangling from it. So far, Wells is best known for his work on Hellions, but could he be joining the Spider-Man office? The art he shared also had a leather texture which is intriguing.

This was followed by artist Patrick Gleason tweeting his own art within the Beyond template of a battered Spider-Man being consoled by mary Jane.

This was followed by writer Kelly Thompson sharing what looks like Ben Reilly’s Spider-Man logo on the Beyond template. Likely this is a reference to the sweater Spider-Man of the 90s. Check that out below.

Writer Saladin Ahmed tweeted some Spider-Man sketch designs featuring what appears to be a slightly new costume for Spider-Man. It appears to match a similar look Gleason tweeted earlier today. Check that out below.

Finally, writer Cody Ziglar–who you might know from their great backup in Miles Morales: Spider-Man #25— tweeted an image by Patrick Gleason which appears to be a blonde Peter Parker. Something tells me this is Ben Reilly, but we’ll wait for confirmation! Check out the teaser below.
