Marvel launches ‘Marvel’s Voices: Identity’ trailer

Check out the new trailer ahead of its release tomorrow!

In anticipation of tomorrow’s Marvel’s Voices: Identity, Marvel Comics has released a trailer for the anthology comic. The new one-shot celebrates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Marvel’s Voices: Identity is out tomorrow–read our review for our thoughts–featuring eight stories, an interview, and more spotlighting Asian superheroes and creators.

The Marvel’s Voices one-shot series is now in its second year, with the Marvel’s Voices Pride released in June and the planned Community issue set for October. This is an advance spoiler-free review, so we won’t give away anything that’s not in the preview.

Check out the Marvel’s Voices: Identity trailer below.

Editor Darren Shan spoke of the one-shot in May saying, “It’s unreal to me that one of Marvel’s first Asian super heroes, Jimmy Woo, was first introduced in 1956. He predates the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, and the X-Men.” Shan added, “It just goes to show that Asians have been an integral part of Marvel’s history, both on the page and behind it. So I’m incredibly excited to celebrate that with all these amazing creators, new and established, featuring some of Marvel’s greatest (and dare I say it, best) super heroes!”

You can find Marvel’s Voices: Identity in comic book shops tomorrow.
