Marvel has sent along a press release for The Death of Doctor Strange, highlighting the finale of Jed MacKay’s series in January, which will give way to Death of Doctor Strange: Bloodstone, a tie-in one-shot fittingly starring the Bloodstone family. Bloodstone will be written by Tini Howard with art by Ig Guara. The Death of Doctor Strange kicked off last month with a #1 issue that AIPT’s David Brooke called “a good start, especially for fans who haven’t caught up with Doctor Strange for some time”.
“The Death of Doctor Strange will be reaching its conclusion at #5, but its end will be the beginning for a whole new set of stories on the magic side of the Marvel universe,” MacKay said. “The ups and downs of its five-month run have been a treasure to work on, but the folks at Marvel have been filling my pockets more exciting projects coming down the pike in the future, so stay tuned!”
