On Tuesday, StarWars.com continued their Bring Home the Bounty campaign with some of their most exciting reveals from Hasbro yet. This time both the 3.75″ scale Vintage Collection and 6″ scale Black Series got some love.
We’ll take a look at the Vintage Collection offerings first, which will go up for preorder on Wednesday at 1:00 EST. All of these are deluxe figures, meaning they’ll definitely have a higher price point ($20.99). Unlike the Black Series’ “deluxe” figures, however, they offer some pretty cool extras.
UPDATE: Apparently all of the Vintage Collection items are Walmart exclusives. May our F5 keys be fast and our collective patience strong.
Ahsoka Tano & Grogu
Even though I already preordered the other recent Mandalorian Ahsoka figure, the addition of another 3.75″ scale Grogu and that poncho might have been enough to sucker me into buying another.
Add in that convor, however, and I’m 100% on board.
Incinerator Trooper & Grogu
Argh…now I almost wish I hadn’t managed to find the Walmart exclusive Incinerator Trooper. Since I did, though, it’s going to be hard to justify purchasing another one just for a unique looking Grogu and the accompanying flame effect from The Mandalorian‘s Season 1 finale.
If I’m being honest, I probably won’t have the strength to resist.
Imperial Stormtrooper (Nevarro Cantina)
This one looks like a cool set, but an easy pass for me. Even as someone who isn’t too fond of stormtroopers, however, I can’t deny how cool that E-web gun accessory looks.
Now let’s take a look at the Black Series reveals.
Fennec Shand
This one was already leaked a while back, but the official pictures confirm that it’s a must buy. The figure will retail for $22.99 and should be available for preorder from your preferred online vendors at 1:00 PM EST on Wednesday.
“Deluxe” Boba Fett (Throne Room)
This one’s tough for me.
On one hand, I don’t want to support Hasbro charging $31.49 for figures that should be priced and sold as regular releases. There’s nothing about this toy that justifies the “deluxe” up charge.
That being said, it is a character I love and the figure looks fantastic. It goes up for preorder everywhere Wednesday at 1:00 PM EST, so I guess I’ve got some time to decide how flexible my principles are.
