On Saturday, Disney finally gave us an official trailer for the upcoming Tales of the Jedi anthology series. They also revealed that all six shorts would premiere on October 26 on Disney+.
Although most of us have no doubt watched the leaked version floating around online, seeing the trailer in HD was somehow still a magical experience.

As expected, baby Ahsoka starts things off by stealing the show. Her later appearances in the trailer with Rex appear to confirm rumors that we’ll get an extended version of her fighting off Clone Troopers from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars series finale. This will be juxtaposed with Anakin training her during the early days of the conflict.
We also see that Count Dooku and his fall from Grace will play a significant role throughout the series — including a fight with Yaddle that should be all types of fun to watch. The trailer concludes with Ahsoka confronting the Sixth Brother — a scene that already played out in E.K. Johnson’s Ahsoka novel but will likely be contradicted in multiple ways for this series. That said, we can at least count on Dave Filoni to make it look fantastic.
