Marvel Comics has revealed the new series of variant covers coming out in August from their Stormbreakers lineup, and it’s cute as heck! The covers are part the promotion of Marvel Unleashed, a series that features super pets attempting to rescue their own from Kraven the Hunter. That new limited series by writer Kyle Starks and Jesús Hervás will star Lockjaw, Throg the Frog of Thunder, Redwing the Falcon, Chewie the Cat Flerken, Lucky the Pizza Dog, Bats the Ghost Dog, and their scrappy new ally D-Dog.
This year’s class of Stormbreakers includes Elena Casagrande (Black Widow), Nic Klein (Thor), Jan Bazaldúa (Legion of X), Chris Allen (Miles Morales), Martin Coccolo (Deadpool), Lucas Werneck (Immortal X-Men), C.F. Villa (X-Men), and Federico Vicentini (X Deaths of Wolverine).
