WWE SmackDown is live tonight from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. WWE announced a number of segments earlier in the week, but following last night’s absolutely tragic news that Bray Wyatt has passed away, it’s a safe bet that tonight’s show will feature tribute to him in some way. Let’s take a look at everything announced for tonight’s episode of SmackDown:
WWE SmackDown card: August 25, 2023
Rey Mysterio vs. Grayson Waller

WWE’s official preview:
United States Champion Rey Mysterio hits the ring against “The Arrogant Aussie” Grayson Waller in non-title action.
Mysterio appeared on “The Grayson Waller Effect” on the latest edition of SmackDown, but it devolved into a war of words as Waller disrespected the WWE Hall of Famer and belittled his status as a champion.
Jimmy Uso returns to SmackDown

WWE’s official preview:
After Jey Uso superkicked him and abruptly left WWE, Jimmy Uso returns to the blue brand to discuss the ongoing turmoil within his family.
What will Jimmy have to say in his first appearance since his brother left?
IYO SKY (c) vs. Zelina Vega for the WWE Women’s Championship

WWE’s official preview:
As IYO SKY continues to clash with the likes of Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair and Asuka, the competition for the WWE Women’s Championship has increased with the news that the high-flying titleholder to set to put her gold on the line against The LWO’s Zelina Vega.
After Rey Mysterio’s United States Championship triumph, can Vega draw inspiration from The Legendary Luchador and bring the WWE Women’s Title into the honored Latino faction?
