Actors and filmmakers from some of those projects joined him including Director Leigh Whannell (Invisible Man) to discuss and intro the latest full trailer to his upcoming Wolf-Man. The trailer to another film, The Woman in the Yard, also screened for the NYCC audience, as did the trailer for upcoming Blumhouse video game Fear The Spotlight.
After the trailer for the film Drop screened, its star, Meghann Fahy (White Lotus), came out to discuss the project.
Filmmaker Mike Flanagan (Doctor Sleep, The Fall of the House of Usher) then joined Jason Blum on the stage to discuss some of the films too early in production to show footage to, such as his own upcoming Exorcist sequel and The Black Phone 2, which begins shooting in nine days, as well as the sequel to last year’s highest-grossing horror film, Five Nights at Freddy’s, which releases on December 5th 2025.
Blumfest ended with actress Allison Williams coming to the stage to tease M3Gan 2.0, of which she reprises her role from the original.
