The latest Channel Surfing TV picks will make you laugh, give you thrills, and give you chills. What We Do in the Shadows kicks off its sixth and final season. The Like a Dragon video game series receives a live action adaptation. Then, a child psychologist discovers an eerie link with one of his patients in Before.
Dark Purpose
With What We Do in the Shadows coming to an end, the characters are becoming very reflective. After a brief stint as a vampire, Guillermo reassesses his life. Maybe it wasn’t his dream to be turned, but only to use that idea to be a loyal familiar to his master.
Elsewhere, Laszlo, Nadja, and Nandor reconnect with an old vampire roommate after he’s been in a deep 50 year slumber. They soon realize their lack of ambition as they have not accomplished anything in the past half century. As a result, they have a renewed dark purpose, but how long can it last until they start bungling things again?
The three-episode season six premiere of What We Do in the Shadows airs tonight, October 21, on FX.
The Dark Japanese Underworld
