SCOOP: Galaxy of Madness #6 kicks off second story arc

The crew of the Verisimilitude is back and Vigil’s search for her lost parents continues…

Courtesy of Mad Cave, AIPT can announce Galaxy of Madness #6, written by Magdalene Visaggio with art by Victor Santos and lettering by Morgan Martinez. The sci-fi adventure returns bigger and bolder than ever!

“I love old sci-fi, especially ’50s and ’60s films like Forbidden Planet and the Showa-Era Godzilla movies, with their colorful adventure, glittery astronaut suits, and rubber monsters,” said Victor Santos. “So, when Magdalene and Mike asked me to work on Galaxy of Madness Vol. 2, I couldn’t refuse—it was a perfect chance to explore this imagery and try new storytelling styles inspired by classic comics. Having collaborated with Mags on Tales of Nottingham, I admire her ability to create a diverse cast of deeply human, though sometimes extreme, characters. Working with Mad Cave has been so seamless; I hope this is just the beginning.”

So what’s Galaxy of Madness about?

The crew of the Verisimilitude is back and Vigil’s search for her lost parents continues…while following their footsteps in trying to unlock the secrets and strangeness of the universe! But will the team survive the madness of the galaxy?! Find out in the newest installment of this four-color fantasy!

“Victor and I have been friends and fans of each other’s work for nearly 20 years,” said Michael Avon Oeming. “He’s one of the best storytellers in comics, with his abstract, high-contrast style being a major reason I collaborate with him frequently. He’s truly one of the industry’s best-kept secrets, and he’s like a brother to me, so I was thrilled when he took over the second half of Galaxy of Madness. Strap in!”

Check out a preview and covers by Michael Avon Oeming and Nik Virella below.
