Marvel reveals Storm’s new armor in ‘Storm’ #6 and future titles

Earth’s Mightiest Mutant debuts a new armored look in ‘STORM’ #6 by writer Murewa Ayodele and artist Luciano Vecchio.

Marvel Comics has released new designs for Storm that’ll appear in Storm #6, as well as future titles for each of the upcoming issues. The design is for a new Vibranium armor. It’s great timing as this week we got to celebrate Storm in a new way with Storm: Lifedream.

“The inspiration for the Vibranium Armor is mainly Ororo’s time as Queen of Wakanda,” Vecchio explained. “A Dora Milaje armor base design with a recurrent shape motif of Ororo’s crown as part of the weapon handle and capes. Also a bit of Marvel Rivals vibes, with bulky accents.”

In addition to Vecchio’s Vibranium Armor design, check out a new graphic revealing the book’s upcoming issue titles. Titles include:

  • Thundercloud
  • Serpents, Salanders and Storm Gods
  • Sinister Schemes of the Stars and Stripes I
  • Sinister Schemes of the Stars and Stripes II
  • Thunder War Begins
