Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios have greenlit an adult animation of the iconic Mister Miracle. Announced exclusively via Hollywood Reporter, this is the second adult animation via DC Studios after Creature Commandos.
So what’s the animated Mister Miracle show about?
Harrowing, hilarious, heart-wrenching journey across the pitfalls of the ordinary and extraordinary as the son of God raised by the devil tries to save his family, his world, and maybe even himself.
It’s no surprise that this is getting an adaptation, given that Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow series is heavily used as the source material for the upcoming Supergirl movie.
Mister Miracle is also highly acclaimed, as we here at AIPT called it a “Magnum Opus.”
